CAST
ARLEM ABANES (Iligan City) with the IPAG since 1985 manages his time shifting from lead actor, workshop teacher, and production administrator. He is noted for playing the lead in the winning piece (1989 CCP Drama Competitions) Paglilitis ni Mang Serapio and as a young sex worker in Batang Pro besides the countless memorable roles he has essayed for major touring productions.
HERBERT AMBOS (Iligan City) recently graduated with a Computer Science degree but computers and music make up most of his creative time. He has played with the music ensemble since 1991 and has since collaborated with the music team of major tours. He also stage manages IPAG performances.
An instructor
in Political Science, ENRIQUE 'Iking' BATARA (Iligan City) remains
an "elder" administering and coordinating production of all tours since
1984. He has worked in all major productions since Ranaw, the Singapore
Fest, and now the Europe tours.
NOLLY C. CEBALLOS (Wao, Lanao Sur) grew up with the IPAG. Since joining in 1983, and subsequently its tours of Sarimanok, Ranaw, Mga Kwentong Mindanao and other major works, he has established himself as an important choreographer and performer, having trained with the CCP Choreographers' and Dance Workshops. Nolly is Resident Choreographer and is second man to the Artistic Director. He also takes care of IPAG's Marketing Man.
JIMMY R. ESMERO's (Iligan City) aptitude for sports has been his edge in executing the physically demanding tasks required in dance-theater productions. Besides being performer and a dance facilitator, Jimmy also works with the design team having apprenticed with the CCP. He has joined in major productions and tours since 1987.
JEAN CLAIRE C. FERNANDEZ (Quezon City) teaches Speech Communication and Theater Arts at the U.P. in Los Banos. She was with the IPAG for 5 years until her transfer to Los Banos, although she details as IPAG's Stage Manager for its international tours. Besides stage managing, she is also a theater director.
KATHRYN S. GALAN (Iligan City) has danced with the IPAG since 1992, joining the national and international performances of Mga Kwentong Mindanao and Datu Matu at the National Festival. She helps assist the marketing department of the guild.
NARCISA ELEANOR A. JUDITH (Iligan City) helps manage the Guild as its Costume Mistress and the Europe tour's Production Manager. But besides her work as administrator, she is one of IPAG's finer actresses and dance performers. She joined the Guild in 1985 and has since performed in major productions (starting with Ranaw) in national and international tours.
DEXTER JUMALON (Iligan City) joined the 1998 tours after apprenticing with the IPAG as its Technical Director. He now joins the company as performer and technical person.
CATHRYN LLUCH (Iligan City) joined the IPAG in 1995 and debuts for this 1997 international tour.
LEILANI C. MONTEROLA (Iligan
City) joined the IPAG in 1995 and began her international touring experience
with the 1997 and 1998 Europe performances where she played lead dance
roles.She is lead dancer in IPAG's dance theater production "Lawanen" and
acts as resident Rehearsal Master for most of the guild's productions.
She is currently with the touring company of the "Tales From
Mindanao"
performing ensemble and leads the corps of dance performers in the Guild's
touring performances.
REYNAN REVILLAS (Iligan City) is noted for his fine singing. He joined the Guild in 1995 performing the lead in "Datu Matu" featured in the 1996 CCP National Theater Festival. He has worked with the IPAG in various musicales including the growing "Tales" saga. He joined the 1998 Europe performance tour and now acts as Rehearsal Master and lead dancer in IPAG touring productions.
MELVIN P. PASCUBILLO (Iligan City) is the Guild clown. He has performed for both the 1992 and 1996 National Festivals and most major tours since he joined IPAG in 1991. He also is with the international touring company having joined the world tours since 1996.He is resident artist and works as trainor, rehearsal master, and choreographer for various productions.
WILVEN 'Potpot' PINILI (Iligan City) has in the last 8 years developed to be a credible dance performer and actor and has taken the lead in various productions. Potpot was scholar in two previous CCP Dance Workshops and now works as Rehearsal Master, Choreographer, dance instructor in the IPAG School of the Performing Arts, and designer.
LILYBETH C. MARAON (Butuan City) is not in an enviable position as Finance Manager of a theater company where finances are always almost deficient. But besides cracking her brains on how to juggle funds, Libat has danced in most productions in major roles. She joined in 1988 and has since joined national and international festivals and the Singapore Fest dancing the role of Sarimanok.
ARLENE V. REYES (Iligan City) is IPAG's indefatigable Production Manager. She is a faculty member of the Physical Education Department. Her research on Higaunun dances that earned for her an M.A. from the U.P. is basis for IPAG's dance showcases. Before devoting her full time as PM, she danced with major IPAG productions after joining the Guild in 1989.
RONALD ALLAN S. SALAZAR (Iligan City) studies computer Science and plays with a band. He debuted with the IPAG tour of Europe in 1997 as a music performer playing various instruments like the bamboo flute,.guitar, banduria, kulintang, and various idiophones.
